Chris Bowe was on his way home from dropping his girlfriend off at A&T University at the back parking lot of Holt Hall.  While enroute to his residence, it is beleived that he was chased down by at least one vehicle containing 2 or more persons and he was shot while still in his vehicle, a 1992 Infinity G20.

The shooting occurred on Sharpe Road near Trox Street around 1:30 AM on August 16, 1998.

Pamela Mitchell Hoy

Date of Incident: November 7, 1990
Location: McPherson Clay Rd near Mt Hope Church Rd

On July 25, 1990, Pamela Mitchell Hoy reportedly left her Burlington, NC home for her parents' home in Greensboro. She never arrived. Her van, a 1982 Dodge Van license number AHOY, was found within a couple of days of her disappearance at a motel parking lot in Greensboro near I-40 and I-85.

Her body was found five months later a few miles from her Burlington home in a wooded area on McPherson Clay Rd near the intersection of Mt Hope Church Rd in Guilford County.

Anyone who saw the Dodge van and driver in Alamance or Guilford County area but was never interviewed or has any information on the Hoy murder, is asked to call the Guilford County Sheriff's Office at (336) 641-3690.
